FAITHWORKS PICTURES MAKES FILMS

TO ACCOMPLISH THREE GOALS:

We make films that inspire worship of God, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We make films that encourage obedience to the teachings of Jesus Christ.

We make films that invite faith in God through the work of Christ.

A VISUAL CULTURE DEMANDS TO BE INSPIRED

Over the past few decades, our culture has become progressively more media (or visually) driven and this has redefined the way that we communicate today. Spend just a few minutes on any social network and you’ll quickly discover that people communicate through image as much or more than the written word. This evolution doesn’t show signs of slowing and because of it, we see the great need to adapt the way we communicate the Gospel.

At the same time, culture is looking for something. Not just anything, they seek inspiration. We feel there is no greater inspiration that can be found, but through the word of God. For this reason, we feel its imperative that feed the culture with inspiration they've been seeking but didn't know was through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

OUR ORGANIZATION’S FOCUS:
THE HERO OF THE STORY IS JESUS

OUR STORIES

The primary goal of the films we make is to glorify God. We do this by making films about His Son. This means each film must speak of either who Christ is (His Character), what Christ Says (His Word), and what Christ is doing (His Mission). We do not make promotional videos nor do we make films about ministries. We tell stories about God’s presence, His truths and what He is doing in the hearts and minds of those who follow Him. To put it simply, every story has a hero. The hero of each and every story we tell is Jesus.

OUR STORY PARTNERS

Our story partners can range in size and scope. They can be individuals, churches, or large organizations, but their efforts must focus on glorifying God by obeying Christ’s teachings. This means they must proclaim the name of Jesus, teach God’s Word, and make disciples. Humanitarian efforts are needed, but are only temporary. However, if a ministry is truly proclaiming the Gospel, Christ’s presence should be seen in a very tangible way (James 2:14-17). This means the hungry are being fed, the strangers are being invited in, the naked are being clothed, the sick are being looked after (Matthew 25:34-36) and, most importantly, the lost are being found (Luke 15:32).

THE CENTRAL FOCUS OF OUR FILMS
OUR ORGANIZATION’S PHILOSPHY:
SPREAD THE WORD OF GOD THROUGH FILM
A THREE-STEP PARTNERSHIP

OUR PRODUCTION PROCESS:

FIND THE STORY

The process begins when a church, ministry, or individual (Story Partners) submits a story to us. If the story is of interest, we will then contact them to determine three things: 1. Is the story truly about Jesus? Jesus must be the focus. 2. Can the story be told visually? Film is a visual art form, so the story must work visually. 3. Is God leading? No matter the story, if the Holy Spirit is not leading, we cannot be involved.

MAKE THE FILM

Once a story is a right fit, we will then work with our Story Partner to determine the specifics of the shoot (scheduling, travel, etc.). We ask our Story Partners to work with us to coordinate certain aspects of the production that will help us work more efficiently and cost effectively. This might come in the form of providing a place to stay, travel while in country, and/or arranging translation for foreign language projects.

SHARE THE TRUTH

Once the film is finished, the exciting task of sharing it with the world begins. Not only do we ask our Story Partners to share the film, but we encourage and equip churches, ministries, and individuals all over the globe to share, embed and/or download the film(s) entirely free of charge. The way we see it, the films we make are the Lord’s and it’s a great pleasure to be able to share them with a world in need..
